Allulose is a rare naturally occurring sugar found in certain fruits. A process to produce it at a commercial scale was discovered in 2015 and it is just now becoming available for common use. It tastes great, just like table sugar but a bit less sweet, and with no funny aftertaste. It has almost zero calories (0.3cals/g).
